Officially NOT Homeowners

That's right! As of, Tuesday, September 30, we are no longer homeowners. (Sigh of relief!) We finally, finally, finally closed on our house in Wenatchee. It took exactly 6 months and two weeks to get rid of it. Better late than never, right? I'll spare you the sob story about how it's a little bit sad. We really enjoyed that house though.

We are currently trying to figure out how to find a good realtor here in Boise. I would even shoot for a decent realtor after our last two. We're not really sure when we plan to buy, but we are in a rental until March 2009. There are plenty of houses for sale in this area. We're trying to figure out what part of town to live in, and what we can get for our money. Thankfully, the market here is much cheaper than in Wenatchee. Our goal is to save some money to increase our down payment and get something we really like. We've tossed around a lot of ideas including, but not limited to:

• Some acreage (.5 acres would be nice)
• 3-car garage (we were spoiled in WA)
• 4 bedrooms (wishful thinking)
• Updated kitchen (a must)
• 2+ bathrooms
• Southeast, North Boise, or even the Bench (it's an older part of Boise)

Does it sound like I'm trying to find a realtor?? At least we have some time to look around at houses and for a realtor. Wish us luck!
