How do you know when your students are listening? No, it's not reflected in their grades, nor their assessments. Rather, I feel that their listening skills are reflected in gifts (sense the sarcasm here). Please read the following examples:
1. A box of brownie mix with a card saying, "I would have made them, but I know how much you like the batter."
2. A piece of binder paper that says, "I got you a Taco John's gift card online, but it hasn't arrived yet."
